Who I Work With
My work is grounded in relational, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. I am drawn to working with people who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their inner world with honesty, curiosity, and real commitment. This is not quick-fix work. We will move at your pace, toward embodied, and often this process is profoundly clarifying in the exploration of your needs.
Over the years, a number of women have shared that working with a male facilitator initially felt risky because of past experiences of abuse, harm, or disappointment with men. Many have also shared that through our work together, they were able to stay present with that discomfort rather than bypass it, and in doing so, shift long-held resentment, fear, or mistrust. I hold this feedback with humility, and it continues to inform how carefully I attend to power, pacing, and consent in the room.
Specialties
I frequently work with people navigating:
• Developmental and relational trauma
• Attachment wounds including anxious, avoidant, and disorganized patterns
• Chronic shame, self-criticism, and difficulty accessing self-compassion
• Boundary confusion and power dynamics in relationships
• Integration after psychedelic or non-ordinary state experiences
• Spiritual emergence and spiritual emergency
• Men’s work, fatherhood, parenting and gender identity exploration
• Ethical and relational complexity in facilitation or caregiving roles
• Ethical non-monogamy and polyamorous relationship navigation
• Long-standing patterns that have not shifted through talk therapy alone
Populations
I tend to work best with:
• Adults seeking depth-oriented healing rather than symptom management
• People preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences
• Therapists, facilitators, and other healers needing consultation or supervision
• Men navigating inherited toxic masculinity, intimacy and partnership challenges, and parenting
• Individuals rebuilding trust in their bodies after trauma
• People practicing ethical non-monogamy or polyamory who want relational clarity rather than theory
• People who appear functional on the outside but feel fragmented inside
Spiritual Plumbing's bathtub sliding scale
Spiritual Plumbing's bathtub sliding scale
The Bathtub Scale:
A Sliding Scale for Spiritual Plumbing Healing should be accessible, not exclusive. At Spiritual Plumbing, I use a playful and transparent sliding scale model to help you find a rate that feels integrated, aligned, and sustainable—for both of us. It is based on the “Green Bottle Sliding Scale” https://www.wortsandcunning.com/blog/sliding-scale I have adapted this tool with much love and appreciation to it’s creator Alexis J. Cunningfolk. I call the spiritual plumbing version the “Bathtub Scale”. Why a bathtub? Because everyone deserves to soak in healing waters—but not everyone has the same ability to fill the tub. This model is about checking in with your actual financial capacity, not shame, not scarcity, not comparison. Just transparency.
■ Level 1: The Light Soak $125–$175 per session You’re keeping water in the tub, but just enough to stay afloat. – You’re under financial pressure and often have little or nothing left over. – You may rely on assistance, sliding scales, or community support to meet basic needs. – Paying full fee would cause genuine hardship or require going into debt. Choose this if: You’re committed to the work and need financial flexibility to access it.
■ Level 2: The Deep Soak $200–$275 per session You’re able to fill the tub and settle in comfortably. – Your basic needs are met and you have some financial breathing room. – You can invest in therapy or healing work without major strain. – You may occasionally enjoy extras like dining out, travel, or wellness services. Choose this if: This work is important to you, and you’re resourced to pay the standard rate.
■ Level 3: The Overflow $300–$375 per session Your tub fills easily—and your overflow helps others soak too. – You have significant financial security, high earning potential, or access to wealth. – Paying full fee (or above) is a conscious choice, not a sacrifice. – You want to contribute to equity and help make this work available to others. Choose this if: You’re in a position to give back and help rebalance access.
■ A Quick Rinse on How This Works – You choose your tier—no questions, no paperwork, just integrity. – You can move between tiers over time as your finances change. – If you're not sure where you land, we can have a quick check-in to explore what feels fair. This is about right relationship, not just dollars. Let’s keep the tub flowing—for you, for others, and for the deep work that’s calling you.
