Who I Work With

My work is grounded in relational, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. I am drawn to working with people who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their inner world with honesty, curiosity, and real commitment. This is not quick-fix work. We will move at your pace, toward embodied, and often this process is profoundly clarifying in the exploration of your needs.

Over the years, a number of female bodied humans have shared that working with a male bodied facilitator initially felt risky because of past experiences of abuse, harm, or disappointment due to those relationships. They have shared that through our work together, they were able to stay present with that discomfort rather than bypass it, and in doing so, shift long-held resentment, fear, or mistrust. I hold this feedback with humility, and it continues to inform how carefully I attend to power, pacing, and consent in the room.

Specialties
I frequently work with people navigating:

• Developmental and relational trauma
• Attachment wounds including anxious, avoidant, and disorganized patterns
• Chronic shame, self-criticism, and difficulty accessing self-compassion
• Boundary confusion and power dynamics in relationships
• Integration after psychedelic or non-ordinary state experiences
• Spiritual emergence and spiritual emergency
• Trans and nonbinary experiences, including transition, embodiment, and identity integration
• Ethical and relational complexity in facilitation or caregiving roles
• Ethical non-monogamy and polyamorous relationship navigation
• Long-standing patterns that have not shifted through talk therapy alone

Populations
I tend to work best with:

• Adults seeking depth-oriented healing rather than symptom management
• People preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences
• Therapists, facilitators, and other healers needing consultation or supervision
• Men navigating inherited toxic masculinity, intimacy and partnership challenges, and parenting
• Individuals rebuilding trust in their bodies after trauma
• People practicing ethical non-monogamy or polyamory who want relational clarity rather than theory
• People who appear functional on the outside but feel fragmented inside

Spiritual Plumbing's bathtub sliding scale

Spiritual Plumbing's bathtub sliding scale

The Bathtub Scale:

A Sliding Scale for Spiritual Plumbing

Healing should be accessible, not exclusive.

At Spiritual Plumbing, I use a sliding scale model that's meant to be transparent and a little playful—something that helps you find a rate that actually fits your life, not just your best-case-scenario budget.

This is adapted with love from the Green Bottle Sliding Scale by Alexis J. Cunningfolk. My version is called the Bathtub Scale.

Why a bathtub? Because everyone deserves to soak in healing waters, but not everyone has the same ability to fill the tub. This isn't about shame or scarcity or proving you deserve support. It's just an honest check-in with where you actually are.

■ Level 1: The Light Soak — $125–$175

You're keeping water in the tub, but just barely.

You're navigating real financial pressure. There's often not much left over after the basics, or sometimes not even enough for those. You may rely on assistance programs, community support, or other sliding scales to get by. Paying a standard therapy rate would mean genuine hardship or going into debt.

This tier is for you if you're ready to do the work and need real flexibility to make it possible.

■ Level 2: The Deep Soak — $200–$275

You've got enough water. You can settle in.

Your needs are met. You have some financial breathing room, not necessarily abundance, but stability. You can invest in your healing without it being a crisis. Maybe you eat out sometimes, take the occasional trip, or spend money on things that aren't strictly necessary.

This tier is for you if this work matters to you and you're resourced to pay a standard rate.

■ Level 3: The Overflow — $300–$375

Your tub fills easily, and what spills over helps others.

You have real financial security: high income, savings, assets, or access to wealth. Paying full rate isn't a sacrifice, it's a choice. And when you choose this tier, you're actively helping make space for someone who can't.

This tier is for you if you're in a position to give back and want to.

A quick note on how this works

You choose your tier. No paperwork, no justification, no guilt. Just you, being honest with yourself.

Your tier can change over time. Finances shift, and so can your rate. If you genuinely aren't sure where you land, I'm happy to have a quick conversation about it. There's no wrong answer, and no one's checking your bank statement.

This is about right relationship. With the work, with your resources, and with the people who need this just as much as you do.

Let's keep the tub full, for you, and for everyone downstream.
