Who I Work With
My work is grounded in relational, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. I am drawn to working with people who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their inner world with honesty, curiosity, and real commitment. This is not quick-fix work. We will move at your pace, toward embodied, and often this process is profoundly clarifying in the exploration of your needs.
Over the years, a number of female bodied humans have shared that working with a male bodied facilitator initially felt risky because of past experiences of abuse, harm, or disappointment due to those relationships. They have shared that through our work together, they were able to stay present with that discomfort rather than bypass it, and in doing so, shift long-held resentment, fear, or mistrust. I hold this feedback with humility, and it continues to inform how carefully I attend to power, pacing, and consent in the room.
Specialties
I frequently work with people navigating:
• Developmental and relational trauma
• Attachment wounds including anxious, avoidant, and disorganized patterns
• Chronic shame, self-criticism, and difficulty accessing self-compassion
• Boundary confusion and power dynamics in relationships
• Integration after psychedelic or non-ordinary state experiences
• Spiritual emergence and spiritual emergency
• Trans and nonbinary experiences, including transition, embodiment, and identity integration
• Ethical and relational complexity in facilitation or caregiving roles
• Ethical non-monogamy and polyamorous relationship navigation
• Long-standing patterns that have not shifted through talk therapy alone
Populations
I tend to work best with:
• Adults seeking depth-oriented healing rather than symptom management
• People preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences
• Therapists, facilitators, and other healers needing consultation or supervision
• Men navigating inherited toxic masculinity, intimacy and partnership challenges, and parenting
• Individuals rebuilding trust in their bodies after trauma
• People practicing ethical non-monogamy or polyamory who want relational clarity rather than theory
• People who appear functional on the outside but feel fragmented inside
Spiritual Plumbing's bathtub sliding scale
Spiritual Plumbing's bathtub sliding scale
The Bathtub Scale:
The Bathtub Scale is a mutual agreement based on honesty, trust, and your current financial reality. Rather than being a one time decision, I view it as an ongoing conversation. As life circumstances change, whether because of increased financial capacity or unexpected hardship, I invite us to revisit your chosen level together so that it continues to honestly reflect your situation.
The Bathtub Scale: A Sliding Scale Agreement for Spiritual Plumbing
Healing should be accessible, not exclusive. At Spiritual Plumbing, I use a transparent sliding scale model to help us land on a rate that’s honest, not just comfortable. It’s adapted from the Green Bottle Sliding Scale created by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, and I call my version the Bathtub Scale. Why a bathtub? Because everyone deserves to soak in healing waters, but not everyone has the same capacity to fill the tub, and naming that capacity honestly is part of the work itself.
This isn’t about shame or scarcity or proving you deserve support. The Bathtub Scale isn’t simply a pricing model. It’s a shared commitment to honesty about what is sustainable for both of us.
————————————————————————————————————————————————
■ Level 1: The Light Soak - $125 to $175 per session
You’re keeping water in the tub, just enough to stay afloat. This tier fits if most or all of these are true: you’re under real financial pressure with little or nothing left over after basic needs, you rely on some form of assistance or community support to get by, and paying full fee would cause genuine hardship or require debt.
————————————————————————————————————————————————
■ Level 2: The Deep Soak - $200 to $275 per session
You’re able to fill the tub and settle in. This tier fits if most or all of these are true: your basic needs are consistently met with some breathing room left over, you can invest in this work without real strain, and you have some capacity for non essential spending like travel, dining out, or other wellness services.
————————————————————————————————————————————————
■ Level 3: The Overflow - $300 to $500 per session
Your tub fills easily, and what overflows helps someone else soak too. This tier fits if most or all of these are true: you have enough financial stability that paying at this level doesn’t create hardship, and doing so allows this work to remain accessible to others. This is about capacity, not just income. Someone can earn well and still have little real capacity because of debt, medical costs, or family obligations.
————————————————————————————————————————————————
A quick note on how this works: Together, we’ll choose a rate that honestly reflects your current financial reality. I view the Bathtub Scale as a shared agreement rooted in honesty, trust, and transparency. As life changes, I invite us to revisit that agreement together, not as a renegotiation, but as a natural continuation of what we already agreed to at the start.
Let’s keep the tub full, for you, and for everyone downstream.

Choosing your level is not simply selecting a fee. It is entering into a relationship grounded in honesty, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to making this work sustainable and accessible.
For Daylong Journeys and Retreats:
Daylong and retreat work carries a different weight and a different ask. The preparation, the ceremony, and the integration that follows represent a significant investment of time, presence, and care on both sides. The same Bathtub Scale principles apply: choose the range that honestly reflects your capacity, not just your comfort.
Level 1: The Light Soak, $750 to $1500
Level 2: The Deep Soak, $1750 to $2500
Level 3: The Overflow, $2750 to $5000
If you’re unsure where you land, bring that uncertainty into our consultation. We’ll figure it out together.
